Join us for the 10th Annual Primary Prevention Summit, hosted by the New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NYSCADV). Mark your calendars for November 18 and 19, 2024, at the Rivers Resort & Casino Events Center, where we will come together to celebrate over two decades of dedication, innovation, and resilience.

This year's summit promises to be the best yet, with a mixture of topics addressing health equity, racial justice, and engaging diverse groups across sectors and ages. Participants can look forward to:

We encourage new Prevention Educators to join us on November 18th for “Prevention 101: What do we know about preventing Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.” Reflecting on the past two decades of robust prevention programming, this session will serve as a primer and will review the basics of the public health model, prevention principles, community organizing for dismantling oppression, and promoting social justice.

New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NYSCADV)

The New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NYSCADV) is the only statewide domestic violence coalition in New York State. A recognized leader for over 40 years, NYSCADV works to ensure the provision of effective and appropriate services to survivors through community outreach, training, technical assistance, and policy development. The collective voices of survivors and advocates as expressed through NYSCADV strengthens public and private response and prioritizes domestic violence as a human rights issue.
