NYC AVP- Navigating Financial Violence in Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Relationships
As a part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), join AVP’s Economic Empowerment Program on Wednesday, October 27th from 4-6 p.m. for our “Navigating Financial Violence in Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Relationships” webinar.
This webinar is for LGBTQ and HIV-affected survivors of IPV and their allies. We will share information and resources for community members to navigate the impacts of financial violence. We will address topics such as:
• Examples of economic violence and how it shows up in IPV relationships
• Understanding coercive control, technology-facilitated violence, etc. and options for addressing the effects
• Tips and resources for survivors of financial violence
